Jason continues to expand his knowledge and hone his skills through many of the most highly respected experts and organizations in the field of health and fitness.
A 1996 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences, Jason gained valuable experience working for the University of Florida Living Well Program, an on-campus fitness center for University staff. He also earned several certifications from the University of Florida Center for Exercise Science, Colleges of Medicine and Health and Human Performance Educational Program for Musculoskeletal Evaluation and Rehabilitation.
After earning a post graduate certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Jason began working as an exercise physiologist for the LifeTime Wellness Center (Munroe Regional Healthcare System) in Ocala, Florida. For the next three years, he worked in the cardiac rehab program, post-rehabilitation and wellness programs.
In late 1999, looking for a change and a new challenge, Jason moved to Tampa and began working as a fitness professional for Xtreme Total Health and Fitness. Today, he continues his journey, learning from and loving what life has given him in his chosen profession
